Welcome to Translationsland.com (“Website”), operated by Ekaterina Markova (“Freelance Translator,” “I,” “Me,” or “My”).  1.1. The Website provides professional translation, localization, and related language services to individual and business clients (“You” or “Your”).
 1.2. All services are performed based on the specific requirements communicated and agreed upon before the commencement of the project.
 1.3. I reserve the right to decline projects that are outside My expertise, unethical, or illegal.


2. Quotations and Payments
 2.1. Quotations provided through the Website are based on the details submitted by You, including language pair, word count, subject matter, and urgency.
 2.2. Payment terms will be agreed upon before the start of any project. Payments must be made in full within 30 days of invoice issuance, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
 2.3. Late payments may incur additional fees, and I reserve the right to suspend services until outstanding payments are resolved.


3. Intellectual Property. Copyright in the Original Work
 3.1. You certify that:

 3.2. Under Article 8 of the Berne Convention, I retain copyright to the translation or adaptation until full payment is received.
 3.3. Once payment is made in full, copyright is transferred to You. Until then, any use of the translation is prohibited.


4. Revisions and Quality Assurance
 4.1. I strive to deliver high-quality translations. If errors are identified or revisions are required, I will make reasonable efforts to address them within 365 days of delivery.
 4.2. Revisions beyond the original scope may be subject to additional charges.


5. Confidentiality
 5.1. I am committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all documents and information provided by You.
 5.2. No information will be shared with third parties without Your consent, except as required by law.


6. GDPR Compliance
 6.1. Personal Data Collected: Translationsland.com collects personal data such as names, email addresses, and any other information You provide through contact forms or service inquiries. Additionally, anonymized data, such as IP addresses and cookies, may be collected for analytics purposes.

 9.1. You may cancel a project before work has commenced without incurring charges.
 9.2. If cancellation occurs after work has started, You will be billed for the portion of the project completed.
 9.3. Refunds are not available for completed projects.


10. Governing Law
 10.1. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Estonia and the provisions of the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works.
 10.2. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Estonia.


11. Amendments
 11.1. I reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on the Website, and continued use of the Website constitutes Your acceptance of such changes.
