Areas of Specialization

As an experienced translator, I've honed my expertise in various fields, each with its own language and set of challenges. Here's a look at the areas where I bring texts to life across languages:

Oil & Gas: I have been working on such projects as Yamal LNG, Arctic LNG 2, Amur GPP, and Karachaganak.

You can see an example of my editing job since the U.S. Department of Commerce, Commercial Law Development Program has made it publicly available. Both the English and Russian documents are available on CLDP’s website. Direct link: Methane Abatement for Oil & Gas – A Handbook for Policymakers.

Life Science: I have extensive experience in medical translation, especially in medical devices, oncology, ophthalmology, immunology, virology, cardiology, pulmonology, dentistry, genetics and biomedical technologies.

International and non-profit organizations: I have been pleased to translate for those who help people in emergencies, survivors of disasters, who defend the rights of minorities and refugees, who promote freedom of speech and human rights, who protect children in need, and survivors of violence and abuse.

Engineering: From technical specifications to project plans, I translate all kinds of engineering documents. I'm well-versed in the precise terminology and concepts used across different engineering disciplines, whether it's civil, mechanical, or electrical.

Chemistry: Chemical compounds, safety data sheets, lab reports – I handle these with care and precision. I understand the importance of accuracy in this field, ensuring that the translation is precise for safety, regulatory compliance, and scientific clarity.

Automotive: This industry is all about detail, from user manuals to product catalogues. I have experience with automotive terminology and stay updated on industry trends, which helps me deliver translations that resonate with consumers and professionals alike. Obviously, I am a great driver myself and I know the car from the inside.

Law / Contracts: Legal documents require a translator who is not only proficient in the language but also understands the legal implications of every word. Moreover, I studied Law in a French college, so I know legal thinking.

Business / Management: I've translated business plans, annual reports, management texts, etc. I'm familiar with the current business jargon and concepts, which helps me to communicate effectively between businesses and markets.

Websites Localization: Adapting web content for a Russian-speaking audience goes beyond mere translation. I focus on cultural nuances, ensuring that websites resonate with local tastes, values, and languages while maintaining their original brand voice and intent.

IT / Software & Hardware: In this rapidly evolving sector, I translate user interfaces, help documents, product guides; localize games for PC and Android. My knowledge of the tech industry's evolving language ensures that users have the information they need to make the most of their software and hardware. Moreover, I know the basics of programming languages, and you can be sure that your text will be perfect technically.

In all these fields, my goal is to provide translations that are not only linguistically accurate but also culturally and contextually relevant to Russian-speaking audiences. Whether it's a complex legal contract or a software user manual, I bring the same level of commitment and quality to ensure the translated content achieves its intended purpose.
